man, so

uhh that didn't last for very much longer. that was the only time we did shit after we stopped seeing each other. I sort of waited him out, he just never brought it up again and by the time he Did, i'd already written him off for that and had started dating someone else

i went out with THIS guy for a few months. he was really sweet and very fun to chat with, but ultimately not someone I was feeling things for. we're still sort of friends, he doesn't live in town so I'm not likely to see him all that often, which is good for keeping it light. he's a local comedian and has a show in town next week though and i told him I'd go since i never saw him on stage while we dated. plus i have a jacket of his to return to him. it'll be the first time I'll see him since i ended it a few months ago, so I'm a bit nervous, but I'm dragging a friend with me so i have an exit built in when I say hi. 

as for the guy previous, we're also sort of friends. he sends snaps/insta posts sometimes. he came over once after I had ended things with the comedian guy to hang out, we played some old games, it was fun enough. was unsure as to whether or not he was expecting anything more... the evening went by in patches of fun and awkward, the subject did not come up but there was definitely something thick in the air at all times. probably nerves on either end... he hasn't been over since, or suggested another hangout. he's not a bad fellow and we have stuff in common and we get along fine but, in all honesty, I don't really care if we keep being friends. it's an awkward feeling. he's not stupid though, i think he's picked up on it -n- i saw him on tinder again the other day, so at least he's looking elsewhere (not that any of the factors that supposedly ended our dating have changed for him so... good luck next girl)

but, yeah, I'm single one again for a few months now.  I've got my standard 3-4 dating apps i check/curate regularly..pickins are much the same slim they usually are

mom said over Christmas that she has a good feeling about this year for me in dating.. I'm choosing to agree with her. I'm trying to not feel discouraged.. but it IS the start of January, so we'll see ;)
